The idea of Blue Friday is simple: instead of discounts, we will donate 20% of the total amount of regular-priced Artek and Vitra purchases made on Friday, November 29, to the protection of the Baltic Sea. The day's proceeds will be donated to the Baltic Sea Action Group, a foundation dedicated to improving the ecological state of the Baltic Sea.
Our exceptional Baltic Sea was chosen as the recipient of our donation already in 2017, as it affects all Finns. We live in a country surrounded by the Baltic Sea, with a total coastline of approximately 46,000 kilometers. By promoting the protection of the Baltic Sea together with our customers, we are making an investment in the future of our country's nature.
