The exhibition items were made by the students of Lahti institute of Design in collaboration with the glass school of Nuutajärvi. The students organized the collaboration by themselves to keep up the long tradition of glass design. The project taught the students the principals of glass design and communication with glass blowers. The organizers, students Penna Tornberg and Toivo Molin wish to ensure that glass-know-how will not die in Finland and that new glass designers would find their way through.
